And while I'm in Florida, I just need to make a quick addition to my list of things that annoy me about old people... 

They wear speedos!   Such a small amount of fabric is NOT adequate to cover most of those bodies.   You get the picture.

The vacation in Florida has proven to be quite an experience.  Yesterday I got to live through my first hurricane, which more or less consisted of sitting in the house without power, with the occasional expedition outside to find an open gas station to pack up on batteries and, of course, smokes.  Previous to this we've traveled all over the Tampa Bay region, checking out everything from remote, desolate beaches with hopes of spotting a manatee to tourist spots like Treasure Island.  Yes, there is actually a town in Florida called Treasure Island.  Gonzo heads back to Knox today, I'll be down here till Thursday.  The time I've spent in Florida (my second time down here in as many years) makes me question why anybody even bothers to live up north.  Aside from the occasional hurricane and tropical storm, it's real nice down here.  I know I'll be missing it when I'm trying to manuever my compact through the snow-covered streets of Pittsburgh. 

Oh, I did manage to get the jersey, and Pittsburgh beat out the dolphins in the midst of a hurricane.  Badass.

Also bought a new header, but I don't like it, and I can't figure out how to make it go away.  Any suggestions?

Sorry, still no regular posts. I finally got internet access at home (high-speed)! Two days later, my laptop died. After letting it collect a little dust I took it to Circuit City on warranty, so hopefully they'll get it fixed. Will be in Florida the next two weeks, then I'll be moving to Pittsburgh (will have to buy a Steelers' jersey so as to look like a native). If I get the computer fixed maybe I'll post something again someday... till then, waste your time somewhere else. ;)
